A 28-year-old resident of Vladivostok was admitted to the Emergency Department of the Falk hospital in the evening with acute abdominal pain. After consulting a surgeon, ultrasound and laboratory tests, the girl was found to have a ruptured ovarian cyst. In the patient's abdominal cavity there was a significant amount of free fluid, presumably blood, in the volume of 1 liter! It was obvious to the Falk doctors that the patient needed an emergency operation.
During laparoscopic surgery, the rupture of the ovarian cyst was successfully eliminated. In the postoperative period, all indicators were normal. The very next day, she was transferred to a ward. 4 days after the timely operation, the patient was discharged home.
