In the Emergency Department of the Falk hospital, after an unsuccessful appeal to various medical institutions in the city of Vladivostok, a girl with a pronounced pain syndrome and a volume formation in the abdominal cavity was admitted. The hospital's specialists immediately performed all the necessary diagnostic procedures, and a series of images from a magnetic resonance imaging machine in the abdominal cavity revealed the formation of a huge liquid structure with a spread into the pelvic cavity. The clearly defined dimensions shocked even experienced doctors with many years of experience and amounted to the following indicators : vertical 33.0 cm, sagittal up to 14.0 cm, frontal up to 27.0 cm with the presence of heterogeneous cystic-solid inclusions and with the presence of multiple partitions. The cyst had an uneven capsule, 0.1-0.35 cm thick, and each cystic-solid inclusion also had its own capsule. It was decided to carry out a planned resection of the cystoma and an audit of the abdominal organs. During the operation, 7 liters of liquid contents of the cyst were evacuated from the patient's abdominal cavity. In the postoperative period, the patient was prescribed medication and no pathology was detected during the control ultrasound. The patient was sent home with a noticeable improvement and recommendations for dynamic follow-up.
