Vitaly B., 67 years old. A resident of Primorye, went to the hospital "Falck" with complaints of deterioration of liver function. According to the results of clinical and laboratory studies conducted earlier (blood tests, ultrasound data), it is impossible to exclude liver neoplasm. Falk specialists decided that the best method of further diagnosis in this case would be MSCT with intravenous bolus contrast.
The patient had difficulties with peripheral venous access, and therefore it was decided to place a subclavian catheter and inject a contrast agent with it. All this was done on the day of the patient's admission to the hospital "Falk".
The tomography revealed a large liver formation and several concomitant diseases. The relatives decided to receive treatment in South Korea. To facilitate the process of transferring the patient to a partner clinic in Seoul, the doctors of Falk Hospital sent the results of the research to their colleagues in electronic form. Just 3 days later, Vitaly went to Korea. And the doctors from the Faclk hospital, keep in touch with the Korean clinic that received the Primorye resident, to explain all the processes to the patient and make sure that his family was met at the airport.
